Paid Survey Scams
There is a lot of buzz around the internet about paid surveys. Half the websites you will see say they are great and are an easy way to add some extra money to your budget. They are complete with outstanding reviews and proof of earnings. The other half says that they are all scams. But who is right? The truth is that they both are. There are a lot of paid survey websites that will ask you to pay a small start up fee to join and then they will give you access to their extensive database of companies that are ready to start throwing money at you. Does this sound too good to be true? Pay .95 or however much they charge and have access to an infinite amount of money that you can make at your own pace. Well it is too good to be true. Here is what you will end up with: a list of paid survey companies that you could have gotten for free. Check out this website for a list of Free Paid Surveys.
Paid surveys that don't require you to pay to sign up are a good thing to start looking for when deciding which paid survey company to join. How can they scam you out of your money when you have not paid anything for it? Also you can join as many companies as you want with no startup cost. I would suggest joining as many as you can to get the maximum amount of survey invitations and therefore make the maximum amount of money. However there are some that will just have you sign up and then sell your email address all over and spam it to no end. That is why I suggest making a second email address specifically for receiving invitations for paid surveys. Keep your personal and business emails separate. A great way to tell whether a paid survey company is legit is looking at their website and seeing if it looks like it took time to put together and gives a professional impression.
